The advantage is twofold with the Firebolt. It reduces the weight of your ION in turn reducing kick when the gun is fired imparting a more accurate shot. At about half the weight of the stock bolt the Firebolt helps make your ION or SP8 faster lighter and quieter while dropping the operating pressure about 15 psi.
